 Place de la Concorde (former Revolution Square) is a strategic cross: you have at your disposal here lots of possibility: the Seine River, once crossed you are right in front the National Parliament, the Champs-Elysees which at the beginning start as a big garden, then turning in the famous international avenue with shops etc (ending at the Arc of Triomphe) or that other avenue leading to the Madeleine Church (without forgetting Rue de Rivoli which together with the Tuleries gardens bring you to the Louvre Museum).
