Isles
|
The littlest island of Paris, the Ile St. Louis can ba accessed both drom the Rive Gauche and the Rive Droit, but also from the bigger island, Ile de la Citè, the one where the cathedral of Notre Dame is located (precisely from its back). The Ile Saint Louis is a very pretty place to see and one of the many things not to miss in Paris. The poet Baudelaire has born there and many artists and historical character lived on this original part of the town. There are more than one thing or two to see in this little island, and also some interesting shops and restaurant. Down its river, by the Seine, people use to spend some time on the benches looking at the river, at its boats passing by while resting or reading. Ile Saint Louis is surely one of the charmest places of Paris.
